Get set for a double event launch to open Mental Health Week at RANT Arts in Devonport with Minds Do Matter & Imaginaria!

In a multi-art form extravaganza, the inside of RANT Arts’ building will host the opening of the Devonport iteration of Minds Do Matter exhibition while the outside of the building will be the creative canvas for an immersive, large scale, architectural projection with accompanying soundscape.

Minds Do Matter is an annual, month long statewide community exhibition which promotes positive conversations about mental health. In 2022 artists address the theme of ‘courage’ and in Devonport includes the works of nearly forty artists.

Imaginaria is an illuminated extravaganza co-created by 8 local artists and renowned projectionist Jim Coad and includes the creative contributions of broader community via the Imaginaria Community Colour Crew and an accompanying soundscape by Asphalt in the Bag.

Featuring local musician Stella Blackwell who will entertain audiences with personal compositions while you wander from the inside to the outside and back again.
