Plant a Seed for Mental Health Week
October 8, 2020 @ 11:00 am - October 10, 2020 @ 4:00 pm
For Mental Health Week 2020 (5-10 Oct), we are inviting students to nurture a plant. We want to demonstrate the beautiful effect that small positive actions can have over time. Participants will include a wish for the future, and to share messages around mental health with their peers and friends. We’re also inviting people to collaborate with students on our virtual MURAL.
Students can engage digitally, or join us physically at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens.

The theme for Mental Health Week 2020 is “We all have a role to play”. Play your part by having fun while raising awareness around mental health!
Student Mental Health Tasmania is partnering with the Mental Health Council of Tasmania, the University of Tasmania, the Tasmanian University Union, the UTAS Gardening Society, UTAS Student Accommodation, the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, Source Wholefoods and a number of other wonderful community organisations to bring this event to life.
