DESCRIPTION:1 in 5 Australians are impacted by mental health issues every year. \nThis Mental Health First Aid Course is based on guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and mental health professionals. \nThe course will teach participants about the signs & symptoms of mental health literacy & teach the practical skills needed to support someone experiencing a mental health problem. \nOn successful completion of course\, participants will be recognised and receive certification as Mental Health First Aiders for 3 years in accordance with Mental Health First Aid Australia Inc guidelines.\nhttps://mhfa.com.au/ \nBec Wood is a Nurse educator Trainer/ Assessor & Master Instructor (recognised by MHFA Aust Inc) and facilitator of this course.\nBookings are essential. \nhttps://www.medicreach.org/booking-calendar/12-hour-mental-health-first-aid
