SUMMARY:Mental Health Week Community Walk
DESCRIPTION:Wear a splash of colour and join our community walk in Mental Health Week (3 – 11 October) to help increase awareness about mental health and connect with your community. \nThis year’s event will be held at Rosny Farm on Saturday\, 3 October\, from 11 – 1pm\, with the community walk taking place on the Rosny Parklands Circuit Track. \nThere will be prizes (including most colourfully dressed)\, a free BBQ\, live music\, and activities. \nWe are holding this event during Mental Health Week to help reduce stigma around mental illness\, promote positive mental health\, and foster conversations around mental health and wellbeing. \nIt also serves as a reminder to Appreciate the Little Things\, in support of Mental Health Council of Tasmania’s campaign to encourage people to pause\, reflect\, and find calm in small\, everyday moments. \nLifeline Tasmania will provide in-person mental health support on the day. \nHosted by Clarence City Council.
