DESCRIPTION:Come along to the Fingal Valley Neighbourhood House and enjoy GRIT- Tasmanian Spirit on Screen\, a series of short films made by Tasmanians for Tasmania.  Inspired by the stories of grit of everyday Tasmanians\, six award winning filmmakers tell stories of courage within the Tasmanian community. These highly creative films\, made by some of Tasmania’s best filmmakers tell our unique stories on screen.  GRIT is presented by Wide Angle Tasmania with the support of the Tasmanian Community Fund.  \nAfter the screening attendees will have the opportunity to meet and chat with the film makers. \nYou are also welcome to frock-up and strut your stuff just like you’re walking the red carpet at Cannes. \nHot drinks and cakes will be available on the night.
