SUMMARY:Make a Difference - Make a Scarecrow!
DESCRIPTION:Let’s put scarecrows everywhere on the East Coast! \nScarecrows keep an eye out and guard against bad things happening. They are usually made from odd bits and bobs brought together to form something whole. Just like people\, who are shaped by many life experiences\, both good and bad. Mental health is about embracing all those parts and still seeing value and dignity. \nPlease dress your scarecrow in something orange for Mental Health Week! Join the scarecrow trail to start the conversation. \nSupported by Spring Bay Suicide Prevention Network and local organisations across the East Coast.

SUMMARY:The Tassie Mental Health Comedy Roadshow - Cygnet
DESCRIPTION:Three huge shows over three nights\, with our state’s best comedians speaking their minds about mental health. This year we’re visiting: \n\nCYGNET\, Cygnet Town Hall – Thursday Oct 8\nMOONAH\, Moonah Arts Centre – Friday Oct 9\nST HELENS\, Portland Memorial Hall – Saturday Oct 10\n\nTime: Show starts 7:00pm (doors open @ 6:30pm). There will be an intermission\, and the show will finish before 9:00pm. \nOur last 8 years of the roadshow have been so much fun\, with sold out shows and incredible performances. \nEntry is free\, but we do ask that you donate on this page or pay what you like at the end of the show to help out all who have donated their words\, thoughts\, skills\, and time. \nAs our capacity is strictly capped\, we ask that you only get a ticket if you can absolutely make it. If you later realise that you cannot come on the night\, please cancel your ticket as soon as you can so that someone else might be able to enjoy the show. \nPlease note that while there is no enforced age limit for entry\, as a stand-up comedy show\, mature themes and adult language will feature\, so consider this before bringing young people. \nWe acknowledge the palawa/pakana people of lutruwita/trowunna/Tasmania and today’s Tasmanian Aboriginal people who are the custodians of the land where we are grateful to present these events. \nProudly supported by MoodMission – an app for low moods and anxiety.
