SUMMARY:The Launceston Men's 5km Walk
DESCRIPTION:From zero (probably in a pram) to one hundred (possibly in a wheelchair)\, men will be walking an easy 5KM track followed by a free snag on Sunday 10th October. Grab your walking shoes\, boots and come and join us as we mark World Mental Health Day with the help of The Mental Health Council of Tasmania. \nThis is a chance for all men from Launceston and the surrounds to walk and talk and to show off to Tassie what great men live here. Bring your Dad\, your son\, your brother\, your mate\, your next door neighbour. Maybe bring men from your sports club\, your work colleagues or old school mates. Let’s get men moving. \nThe track is an easy one\, and there are shortcuts. Start from Hoo Hoo Haven\, yes it exists\, do a loop and come back to a free\, delicious sausage in a roll. Sausages very kindly donated by Nigel’s Gourmet Butchers and rolls by Cripps Bakery. It is great to get local support. \nThe Men’s Table\, TASDADS\, The Man Walk\, ManUp-TAS and Ascent Fitness have come together to put Launceston on the map for men.
